A simple explanation would be:
Calories tell you HOW MUCH energy you are consuming
Macros tell you THE TYPE of energy you are consuming
Sure, you can track calories, eat in a caloric deficit, and see your weight on the scale go down.
But how do you know that you aren’t also losing valuable muscle as well?
Muscle that we need to look and feel our best in all different stages of life?
Instead, you could learn how to track your macros to ensure that what you’re losing is actually fat and not muscle as well (trust me, I am not a numbers person so if I can do it, you can too- my program will teach you everything you need to know!)
Because in the long run, do you really care about the number on the scale? Or do you want to feel great, have more energy, sleep more soundly or feel confident and look amazing in the new outfit you picked out for a night out with your girls???
